April & Chris

Being a Wedding photographer in the South West gives me the opportunity to travel all over Devon & Cornwall and shoot at places I have never been to before. On this day I was a Launcells Barton Wedding Photographer. April & Chris chose the beautiful Church of St Morwenna and St John at Morwenstow for their wedding. I have been here once before. Before heading to Launcells Barton for their reception and party, not been there before, what a place! Resting on the Cornish side of the Devon border its the pefect spot for your wedding celebration.

A year has passed since I shot the wedding of April & Chris and its still fresh in my memory. It was a brilliant and enjoyable day. I met them at their friends wedding the year before and clicked with them straight away. We met after booking at Duckpool for their pre wedding shoot. April in particular was unsure about me being so close with the camera. But a pre wed shoot is a sure fire way to get rid of those nerves and get used to being photographed.

These two were detemined to have a good time. With their friends and family in tow they enjoyed every single minute of their day. Intent on soaking it all up and not worrying about the little things and not stressing if things werent going perfectly, they just ran with it and it was truly memorable day.

Love, laughter, tequila shots, crazy Mum dancing. Storm force confetti. Crazy Dad dancing, tears and an enormous veil. A beautiful sunset and a couple completely in love. Days like this are why I choose to do what I do. Thanks for the memories guys and congrats again on your first year as Mr & Mrs.
