EXETER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Zoe & Barnaby
Zoe and Barnaby chose the enchanting Pashoe House, nestled amidst rolling hills and blooming gardens. It was a match made in wedding heaven, and as the sun painted the sky with golden hues, the stage was set for a celebration like no other. Blah blah blah, man I hate AI, whenever I ask it to write a post for me it always writes such utter drivvle. Lets get back to me telling you about their day.
Zoe and Barnaby, along with their closest friends and family, joyfully prepared for this momentous occasion. Pashoe House was a new venue for me and I always love a new venue. On its own set in the Devon countryside just outside Crediton, no one else there. A perfect spot for this couple’s free-spirited nature and love of parties.
The ceremony, the heart of it all, was a good one. Zoe, radiant and filled with excitement, walked down the aisle to meet Barnaby, whose eyes leaked a little, bless him. They exchanged vows, laughed together, cried together, brilliant.
The festivities continued and the cocktail hour buzzed with laughter and much merriment. A little back story, Pashoe House has taxidermy everywhere! Wherever you look inside there is something dead, and stuffed, adoring the wall or mantelpiece. With this group nothing was off limits, the fox came outside and Zoe’s Dad’s best mate decided it would be fun to pretend to play it as a trumpet! The squirrel appeared on the dancefloor later in the day, I wont got into details, lets just say its a good job it wasnt a beaver!
But what truly made Zoe and Barnaby’s day unique were the intimate moments and personal touches scattered throughout. The speeches were fun and heartfelt that left no eye dry, friends and family sharing stories that painted a vivid picture of the couple’s journey.
To finish the day there was some excellent dancefloor action, shoulder rides, human pyramids, wrestling, trouserless groomsmen and of course, the stuffed squirrel. To finish, fireworks. I have seen this pair at a couple of other weddings since their day and they are always on form and Barnaby always thanks me for their wedding photos. Thanks guys for asking me to photograph your brilliant day, Mike.
Unfotunately Pashoe House is no longer trading, such a shame as it really was a great venue for both stays and weddings. If you are looking for a venue in the Crediton area check out this page on Coco Weddings.
