Kat & Tim’s wedding at Watermouth, well what can I say that hasn’t already been said about this wedding. Both the venue and myself have chatted about this day several times and its one that will live long in the memory. Kat came to me after being given the recommended list of togs from the venue. My work resonated with her more so than the other togs. All on the list are great but my work “just looks different” Kat’s words, not mine. Its not often I get to be the “Watermouth Cove Wedding Photographer” so it was great to be back there for this one.

We laughed and cried a lot last night looking through our photos, we can’t get enough of them, they’re brilliant.
We are both so pleased we had you there on the day. Your style has captured everything we wanted to remember the day with……
….particularly loving that you caught so many of my Dad looking happy – it’s not always the case. The one of my sister pulling a knife on him had us chuckling!

a quick bit of background

These guys met at a Tennis Club where they were both working in 2012. They have been together almost from that moment and have added to their family over the years with two beauiful girls. They chose Watermouth as they love the sea and coastline, they live by the sea themsleves in Sussex. Kat said she had almost given up on getting married until Tim popped the question in 2021, just after the birth of their second daughter.

We had several chats about their day in the lead up and they expressed that they were wanting “natural pics of everyone having a bladdy good time” to quote Kat and not worry about having loads of family groups and posed stuff. Watermouth lends itself to this type of relaxed day and there are some beautiful spots for a wander not far from the venue. They mentioned the caves, a must for those at Watermouth, tide depending of course and lots of photos of their girls, done.

Their colours really popped in the summer sunshine, black bridesmaids dresses, cerise pink bouquets and flowers, Tim’s choice, and Kat dress gleamed in the sunlight with hundreds, thousands of golden sequins, I’ve never seen a dress like that, her seamstress Ceri did an amazing job, she looked stunning. BBQ from H&A Catering, speeches, a dress change and aprtytime and it was time for me to go and leave these good peeps to their evening, congrats.
