This was a summer wedding at Tunnels Beach that I been looking forward to. I love the venue and this pair were just so relaxed they really fitted into the whole vibe around the venue. A day to chill out by the sea and have a great time with their besties and family.

I didnt get to meet this pair until the morning of thier day, we tried several times but both of them are such busy people it just didnt happen. I try to meet all my couple prior even if its just a zoom but this was one rare occaision where it just didnt happen. Not that it made the blindest bit of difference. I was welcomed in as one of the group immediately and got to work photographing the happenings.

They wanted super relaxed and candid photos and me to just be in the background, just how I like it when I’m out shooting as a Tunnels Beach Wedding Photographer.

The Big Day arrives

When I arrived at the venue Serena was already ready, all the bridesmaids and her parents headed outside for the big reveal, always a great moment. Bubbles and hugs all round. The light in the courtyard at Woodlands is so good and its also a great spot to hide from hot sun before you head down the Tunnel. It was a brilliant day in the sunshine with all the usual Tunnels vibe of relaxation and cool. Weather was awesome, bride looked incredible, the food was excellent as usual ( thanks Tunnels for the plate, much appreciated ) some emotional and memorable moments, just my kind of day, thanks for the invite. At sunset I let them just go wandering and followed at a distance to see where they’d go and what they’d do. I’m pleased to say that this approach with them resulted in some of my favourite ever B&G photos at Tunnels. Congrats guys, thanks for the feedback.
