Grace & Jack

It was great to be back at Tawstock Court in Barnstaple for Grace & Jack’s wedding. Perched utop the hill overlooking St.Peters Church and the valley beyond, I doubt there are many countryside venues in Devon with such an fantastic view. Being a North Devon Wedding Photographer, I love to discover and shoot at new venues, it seems every year there is a new one.

Tawstock Ceremony

The ceremony was beautiful and moving in the panneled room at Tawstock, Grace walked down the aisle clutching her Dad’s arm with a huge smile on her face. During the ceremony I think Grace forgot where she was or thought she was some kind a celebrity as she kept waving to her guests. Well, I suppose she was really, it was her wedding after all.

There were some truly wonderful moments and an enormous amount of confetti. One of the funniest bits was when Jack mentioned during his speech that they’d met on Tinder but that his intention going on there wasn’t to find a wife! Grace & Jack, thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful celebration and trusting me with your memories. It was an honour to document this day for you and your families. A special thank you to Laura and her team for looking after me on the day. I look forward to my next adventure at Tawstock Court next year, Mike.
