Best Of 2025

2025 was my TWENTIETH YEAR! as a wedding photographer in Devon and I’ve had the honour of shooting around 400 weddings in that time. If you’ve read any of my bio then you’ll know that I was once a Royal Butler and have worked in lots of different places doing lots of different jobs. I never ever thought I would work as a photographer and when I started as shooting weddings as a Weekend Warrior I had no idea that it would turn into the business it has become.

Its always an honour to be part of these celebrations, from the romantic elopements to the full on parties, they are all brilliant in their own way. Once again this year I have travelled across Britain from coast to coast to Norfolk and across the border into Wales.

The process of going through an entire year’s worth of weddings and picking out images is always tough, I’m super critical of my own work so to get 200 photos that I love is a big job. I shot more than 20 weddings and delivered more than 10,000 photos. Theres been some great moments and I got to photograph one of my oldest friends wedding, had line dancing on the hottest wedding I’ve ever attended ( shorts and a neck fan were the look for that day ) and visited Watermouth Cove, Sandy Cove, Arches, Canada Lodge, Hayne, The Park Hotel, Woolacombe Bay, Tunnels Beaches several times, Country Ways and the brilliant Dunster Tithe Barn for the first time.

This year’s slideshow has a selection of my favourite photos from the past year – if you have a couple of minutes spare, it really is a great watch and I’m really proud of my work. I get to the end of the year a bit jaded and think, thats it, next year will be my last. Then I watch my Best Of and I get chills and it makes me smile and I think. Hmmm Lets keep it going a while longer 🙂
